Pamela Dobbs

Pamela Hamilton was born on November 6, 1956, to William Jr. and Joyce Hamilton in Theodore, Alabama.
She grew up in and around the church. She met the love of her life at church in Theodore. At that time, she was serving as the Sunday School Superintendent and drummer in the church. It was love at first sight, and they married on May 29, 1982, and lived in Alabama for eight years.
Pam Dobbs has served in ministry with her husband, Dr. Mike Dobbs, pastor of Word Alive Revival Center in Wiggins, Mississippi, for over 30 years. Before that, she helped him as an evangelist and worked in her local church in Alabama. She remains dedicated to her calling and the work of God in word and service. Pam served with her husband for four years as the Mississippi District Coordinators of World Network of Prayer and co-founded the Mississippi Prayer Force. During that time, she taught about prayer in prayer summits conducted across the state. She understands the real importance of worship and believes that real Christian leadership must include prayer.
Pam had a passion for Ladies Ministries within the UPC. In 2001, she became part of the Mississippi District Ladies Committee, and in 2009, was voted in as Ladies President. She served as president for ten years.
Pam and Mike have two children, Ashley and Adrian. She has four grandsons, Aidan & Jaron (Twins), Austin, Andrew, and one granddaughter Joycelyn, who all call her "My My." They are the joy of her life.
She loves serving and allowing God to touch people through the work of her hands. Her hobbies include working in the yard with her flowers and cooking delicious meals.
