Page Frazier

Page C. Frazier was born in Jackson, Mississippi, on September 30, 1949, child number eight, and he has nine siblings. His parents were Ulrich and Eula Frazier. His grandparents were Page and Arletha Frazier, of Utica, Mississippi, and Will and Artiemishia Gilmer, of Little Rock, Arkansas.
His wife, Elizabeth Regina Gordon-Frazier, is from Knoxville, Tennessee. They have been married for over 40 years. They have two sons, Solomon and Israel Frazier, who have worked faithfully in ministry, playing music. They have seven children, 16 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
The Fraziers pastor a church in Jackson, Greater New Life UPC. They have been pastoring for over 40 years. Bro. Frazier had a feeling in his heart for God when he was a young boy. He remembers his mother being sick, and he laid hands on her and prayed, and God healed her.
He grew up in the Church of God, Holiness. His father was a deacon in the church. They faithfully attended church. He attended Bible Institute in Pearl. As children, they learned to memorize and quote hundreds of scriptures. His parents were a significant influence in his life.
His conversion journey started around 50 years ago. He was on the wrong path and involved with the wrong people. He became angry and hurt, needing to settle a score. At the time, he was living in Illinois. He jumped in his car, heading back to Mississippi and couldn't get there fast enough. He began to cry, and he heard the old hymn, "Precious Lord," come on the radio. He asked God for forgiveness and was very sorrowful. He began to speak in other tongues. He didn't know that he had received the Holy Ghost until he got back to Jackson, and a few days later, he ran into a friend, who invited him to his church. The church was Greater Bethlehem Temple. Pastor Philip Coleman was up preaching about Acts 2:38, about the baptism in Jesus' name and receiving the Holy Ghost. He jumped up out of his seat and told the pastor, "Say no more. I want to be baptized in Jesus' name!" He was baptized in Jesus' name and came up out of the water speaking in other tongues. He knew then that he had already received the Holy Ghost on that day that he was traveling.
He went back to Illinois, and God began to call him to preach the gospel. He was already witnessing and passing out tracts, putting tracts on people's cars while parked at clubs, and was fleecing God, but he was convinced of his calling.
Over the years, he has baptized hundreds of people in Jesus' name, and many of them received the Holy Ghost. He has laid hands on many, and God has healed them. Many came back with the doctor's reports of healings.
He places much value on prayer, because prayer is vital to unlocking the doors. Also, prayer is a great weapon that stabilizes him through battles. One example of special prayer was when God sent an angel to deliver and protect him when he caught his pants on the tractor's clutch and was hanging upside down, and no one was around. The tractor was on a hill and began to roll. He couldn't move, but he prayed for the Lord to deliver him. All of a sudden, his pants began to unravel off the clutch. He managed to get up and jump back on the tractor and stop it.
He values Bible Study, because the word is a light to his path. He studies to get instructions and directions. He’s thankful for being one of the first African Americans from Mississippi to be licensed with the UPCI in 1985. He also attended classes at JCM, taught by Dr. David K. Bernard
Bro. Frazier said he thanks God for leaders and friends like Dr. David K. Bernard, Bro. Thomas Craft, Bro. G.R. Travis, Bro. James Nations, Bro. and Sis. Mary Ray, Bro. C.J. and Sharon Thomas, and Bro Braxton Lee Stevenson.
