Dr. Glenn Molsbee

A native of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Dr. Molsbee graduated from Ocean Springs High School in 1961. His love for learning led him to the University of Southern Mississippi, where he earned: B.S. (1965); M.C.S. – Master of Combined Sciences in Biology, Geology, and Chemistry (1970); Ph.D. in Science Education (1996).
His teaching career began in 1965 at Ocean Springs Junior High and extended to Meridian, Long Beach, and Orange Grove schools before he founded New Life Christian Academy in Gulfport (1977–1988), where he served as principal, teacher, and coach. From 1989–2012, he was a dedicated instructor at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Jefferson Davis Campus.
Between 1997 and 2009, Dr. Molsbee served as a guest lecturer for the Russian and Ukrainian Departments of Education, participating in international symposiums on teaching Christian morals and ethics in public classrooms.
He shared:
“I was Chairman of the Board for Kindness International, the only organization authorized by the Russian and Ukrainian governments to place Bibles in public school classrooms, provide Christian resources to teachers, and train them to use the Bible as a textbook.”
His global impact extended to Fond Dobro (Kindness Foundation International) youth camps, where he ministered to young people across Eastern Europe.
Dr. Molsbee authored Grounding the Lightning of Anger, a widely respected text for domestic violence intervention, translated into multiple languages and used in 46 states. He also serves on the board of HANDS (Handling Anger, Neutralizing Dangerous Situations).
A licensed minister with the United Pentecostal Church International for 59 years, Dr. Molsbee has faithfully pastored the First Pentecostal Church (now Discovery Church) for 45 years, where he continues to serve as Bishop.
