Theo Holiness Church

In 1966, Reverend Rufus Barnes founded and began pastoring Theo Holiness Church. The congregation initially met in a small block building, but in time, the Mississippi Department of Transportation purchased the property to make way for a new four-lane highway.
A new location was secured just a few miles from the original site, and Reverend Barnes rebuilt the church on a hill beside a major highway—where it still stands today as a testament to faith and perseverance.
In 2006, during the church’s 40th anniversary, Reverend and Mrs. Ronald Wilbanks became pastors of Theo Holiness Church and continue to faithfully shepherd the congregation. Over the years, Reverend Wilbanks has overseen expansions and improvements to the church, helping shape it into what it is today.
