Lighthouse Apostolic United Pentecostal Church

In January 2015, Bro. Rontal Jenkins answered the call to plant a church in DeKalb, Mississippi, his home area. Bro. Jenkins had previously unsuccessfully tried to get into DeKalb, but it was not the Lord's timing. One Sunday, while Bro. Jenkins was leading worship, Bro. George and Sis. Winnie McAdams had come to Free Gospel Temple looking for someone to pastor a small group of people in a Bible study in DeKalb. Bro. George went home and asked his wife if she thought they might be interested in moving to DeKalb. He explained that Bro. Jenkins looked like the person in Bro. McAdams' dream, who the Lord revealed would be the future pastor of the church. Interestingly, Bro. McAdams was unaware that Sis. McAdams had met Sis. Jenkins at a women's conference and knew that they lived near DeKalb.

In May 2015, Lighthouse Apostolic UPC was launched as a NAM work. During his first year as pastor, Lighthouse Apostolic averaged over 30 in attendance and saw many great moves of God. During his first year as pastor, the Sunday school department was started with three youth classes and one adult class, with an average attendance of 20. In the first four years, over thirty souls were baptized in Jesus name and over 20 received the gift of the Holy Ghost!!

Lighthouse Apostolic UPC continues today to be a beacon of light in the DeKalb, Mississippi area.
