Apostolic Revival Center

Apostolic Revival Church officially started on June 4, 2017. This date was chosen because it was Pentecost Sunday—what better day to start a brand-new Pentecostal church? The church is a North American Missions church plant in Southaven, Mississippi. It began with the founding pastor, Andrew Flowers, his wife, Alyssa Flowers, and their children.

The Lord impressed upon Brother Flowers at a young age that he would one day pastor a church, though he did not know where. After serving as a youth pastor in Memphis, Tennessee, he felt it was time to seek where God was calling him to pastor. After much prayer and seeking God’s will, Brother Flowers felt led to start a church in North Mississippi, in the third-largest city in the state.

The church has recently moved into its own facility for the first time since its inception. During its first two years, Apostolic Revival Church rented two different buildings to hold services. The church now averages 21 people in attendance and is poised for revival and growth in Southaven.

During its time in ministry, four people have received the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and four have been baptized in Jesus’ name for the remission of sins. The church continues to preach the good news and desires for all who come to experience the power of God moving in their lives.
